And I went over a spot I didn't properly paint before putting up the backsplash:

I plan on capping the top and bottom of that off with just a simple strip of primed wood to make it look more polished. Up next: more painting! Pretty much every door, door trim, window trim, and base moulding in the house desperately needs a coat of white. Slowly but surely, it will get done!
